The Lake Area Free Clinic in Oconomowoc WI is looking for volunteer general practitioner physicians to help expand their services. At the clinic, they provide free medical and reduced-fee dental care to low-income residents of Waukesha County through volunteers. Do you want to make a difference in people’s lives? Do you want to break down barriers to health care? Do you want to be a part of an amazing team? If you said yes to any of these questions, please consider volunteering with the Lake Area Free Clinic. Currently their greatest need is for primary care physicians. They hold General Clinics every single Tuesday and Thursdays from 4-8 PM. Typically volunteer physicians are here 1 time a month – which is a commitment of 4 hours a month. While at the clinic, liability coverage for volunteer physicians is provided through the state of WI Volunteer Health Care Provider Program (VHCP).
